One solution for bag handling is the new PSSG gripper. This gripper has been specially developed for handling paper, plastic and fabric bags. This gripper can also pick up other porous bag-shaped workpieces. The lightweight housing made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic closes with a sealing element made of FDA-compliant silicone or wear-resistant NBR. Therefore, this all-rounder can be used in many industries. Besides use in automated processes, the PSSG also proves its strength in manual handling on the Jumbo Hose lifter.
